Join us on a kayak fishing tour! Our Saltwater Tackle Tour introduces you to the pleasures of kayak fishing, which is rapidly growing in popularity in Florida. Our Fly Fishing adventure is guided by an internationally recognized biologist, making the trip part fishing adventure, part naturalist expedition!

These trips are catch and release only. Data on the fish you catch is logged as part of research in tracking fish movements.

Saltwater Tackle Tour

Come see why kayak fishing is one of the fastest growing sports in Florida. Your experienced guide teaches you fishing conservation and proper catch and release techniques, which minimize our impact and protect our fisheries. Enjoy serene hours paddling the tidal creeks of the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve, where there are abundant populations of red drum, sea trout, flounder, and jack crevalle.

This adventure includes fully equipped fishing kayaks for four hours.

You can be part of scientific research!

Join us on a Fly Fishing Adventure with Dr. Jimmy Liao. Jimmy is an internationally recognized fish biologist and professor at the University of Florida Whitney Lab for Marine Bioscience. Jimmy began guiding as an undergraduate at Wesleyan University. Upon graduation, he honed his saltwater fly fishing skills while working at Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, FL. He went on to earn an M.A. and Ph.D. from Harvard University studying the biomechanics of how fish swim and continued his studies and research at Cornell University.

This adventure includes fully equipped fishing kayaks for four hours.
