Kayak Tour at the Florida Agricultural Museum

Our partnership with the Florida Agricultural Museum gives us access to the western sections of Pellicer Creek. This kayak trip offers the opportunity to paddle waters that are off the beaten path. Your visit begins within the setting of the Florida Agricultural Museum. The Museum is a working farm with exhibits that demonstrate and preserve Florida’s rural past. A tractor-pulled wagon ride transports you to a remote access point far into the Pellicer Creek Aquatic Preserve.

The dense tree canopy of cypress and tupelo offers shade from the sun and protection from the coastal breezes making for a relaxing paddle through this classic old floodplain forest. Enjoy both the fascinating history and the ecology of this very special place. A professional kayak guide/naturalist from Ripple Effect Ecotours will interpret your kayak adventure!
